Barry Sugg

I am a qualified and highly experienced counsellor, psychotherapist and family therapist with BACP Senior Accredited and UKCP accredited status. With previous long experience as a qualified social worker and social work manager, I qualified in Humanistic Counselling at Brighton University (2000) and I have further qualifications in couples counselling and family therapy, gained with Relate and the Institute of Family Therapy. I also hold a Diploma in Supervision. I have worked successfully with a wide range of problems and difficulties, using individual, couples and family therapy. I am happy to work with most issues but have particular experience with couples/relationships, issues related to sexual identity and with people who identify as LGBTQI, bereavement and spirituality. Besides long experience of private practice, I have worked for Relate, Terrence Higgins Trust and St Joseph's Hospice, Hackney.
